Pattern Sketch Morning
A three-hour Saturday studio for people who name patterns too quickly. The first hour is silent on purpose.

The morning exists for the habit of drawing before speaking. People who already know the vocabulary often gain the most, because the silence takes the vocabulary away for an hour.
We schedule these mornings a few times a season, not every week. The board on the rates page lists the next date when it is fixed.
Who it is for
Anyone who can give a Saturday morning and who wants repetition more than a lecture. Familiarity with candle charts helps, but evening-one material from the circle is not required.
What you leave with
Three or four traced sheets, each with a name written only after the group has seen the lines.

How the time runs
- 09:30 places, charts face down.
- 09:45–10:45 silent tracing.
- 10:45 naming, one sheet at a time, around the table.
- 12:00 a second pass on the sheet you trust least.
Before you come
Come rested. Bring glasses if you use them. We supply paper. Coffee is in the side room; it stays out of the silent hour.
Limits
Sixteen seats at most, fewer if the charts are large. The silent hour is real — questions wait. Children are not part of this morning; the room is for adults studying charts.
