This page explains what cookies are, what this chart pattern recognition site actually stores, and how to turn storage off. It sits beside our privacy note.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so a later visit can remember a preference. Local storage is a similar drawer in the browser, used here for the same kind of memory. Both stay on your device.
Essential and analytics
The only preference we store is essential to the notice itself: whether you accepted or rejected the banner. Rejecting does not lock any lesson page, form, or journal note. We do not run an analytics cookie, a marketing cookie, or a third-party advertising tag. If that ever changes, this page and the banner will change first.

Third parties
Pages request typefaces from Google’s font service. That request sends your IP address and ordinary browser details to Google so the files can be delivered. In our testing that request does not place a studio cookie. It is still a third-party connection, and it happens when the page loads, whether you accept or reject the banner. The banner only records the banner choice.
How to manage or disable storage
Use the Reject button on the banner if you do not want the preference saved as “accept”. Choosing Reject still writes the word reject, so we know not to show the banner every time; if you would rather keep nothing at all, clear site data for synapparallax.click in your browser settings after rejecting, or block storage for this host. Browser help pages for your browser explain the steps. Blocking storage does not block the lessons.
If you disable cookies and storage
The site remains readable. The banner may reappear on later visits because we cannot remember that you already chose. Forms still ask for the same fields. Journal notes, rates, and the naming table do not depend on the choice.
